Laura Ipjian Counseling

Laura is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 8 years of experience working with children, adolescents and young adults in hospitals, schools and a private office setting.

Laura believes in helping the whole person and works not only with them but also their families.

She utilizes recreational therapeutic interventions to help reinforce learned skills and realize a sense of meaning, overall well-being and empowerment.

Education

Laura has a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and an Undergraduate Degree in Communications from Florida Atlantic University.

Experience

Currently Owner and Founder of Laura Ipjian Counseling LLC, located in Glenview, Illinois.

Laura has previously worked at Northwest Community Hospital in their inpatient mental health units for adolescents, adults, addiction and geriatric patients

Laura was a School Counselor for St. Catherine Laboure School (Glenview), St. John Brebeuf School (Niles), St. Emily’s (Mt. Prospect), Pope John XXIII (Evanston), and St. Juliana School (Chicago).

Laura currently conducts seminars for parents upon request.

Laura’s early internship experince was with Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health.
